Anyone here from the Victoria area? I was born and raised there but now I live in Edna. Just thought I'd throw it out there incase there are any members that want to shoot or just BS a little.

Hey Paulie Boy! The DH and I practically live in Edna. Spend about every other weekend at Texana or Brackenridge and we live in Victoria!

Not from Victoria but travel there every other week on Fridays. Great Wally world. Have found 9mm there each time I go and they also sell rifles, havn't seen that for a long time. Great town if you ask me.

Darn it - DH and I had seriously contemplated Farnam's course this weekend, but life got in the way. This just wasn't a good weekend for us. How was it??

mjgray - glad you like our town! Just big enough to have about everything you need but close enough to San Antonio, Austin and Houston to make a quick run if you can't find it here. Pretty darn convenient and no traffic hassles.

I'm currently in Iraq but, I'll be in Edna (my home town) in march if you wanna go shootin. Just got a new 1911 and cant wait to get back to the states and play with it. Just holler at me.

Victoria.....yeah I spent 'bout 32 years there. Now live north of Victoria in Lavaca county....married me a country girl from that area and been living there 23 years. Work in Port Lavaca, so I drive through Victoria daily. Still a great little town....with a few minor problems, but all towns have them. Oldest son lives there and really likes the town.

What 1911 did you pick out? We have one on our shopping list, but haven't decided which route to go.

Where do you work at in Port Lavaca? I live in Edna and work at Kingfisher Marine! Its a small world. I bought some land in Vienna a few years ago. I love to go out there and hunt,shoot,and ride 4 wheelers with my family and friends.
