Can't play those vids at work but I imagine they hooked it to the truck and pulled it? That's the fastest I've ever seen. If so no it is not the safest way but hey speed involves risk. Right?

We used a boat winch to peel deer with!
The truck idea is ok but as you see you can pop the head off if not careful!

Yep, thats the down side with a truck, you can't really tell how much force is being applied to the carcass.
It's a real PITA once the head is gone and you have pretty much separated all the joints in the vertebra.
