He announced today he is running for the post.

Wouldn't that be a hoot? Someone with some nuts to back up the new power we have won.

Boner is a crying, boot licker who spends more time in the tanning bed than he does trying to push a conservative agenda.

Personally, I believe that this is all theatrics and nothing more. I would like to see Boehner defeated but I am not going to hold my breathe.........

    I could support him.

He has built quite a following in his district, and from all accounts, he made his reputation as a common sense judge in East Texas.

Give him some time as Speaker of the House, then allow the next Republican President to nominate him to the Supreme Court!

We'll have a pro-liberty, pro 2A Supreme Court Justice for a long, long time.

    To ALL,

Louie went K-12 with my kid sister & my sister says that he is GOOD PEOPLE & would make a Speaker who would rate right up there with SAM RAYBURN, who was also from our district.
(I really don't know him, as I was "away with the forces" after he was 10YO.)

Our relatively poor, largely rural & sparsely populated 1CD of TX has sent several notable men to Congress over the last century, including the late/lamented SAM B. HALL, who was later a well-regarded judge & was appointed to the federal bench by RWR.

    just my OPINION, satx

I wonder if we stand a chance of an overthrow?

replacing Boner and McConnell with sold Constitutional Conservatives would be the best thing we could see in Congress

Texas Rep. Gohmert to challenge Boehner for House speaker post | Fox News

I saw that article and my hope to get rid of that Obastard ass-kissing RINO, Boner, was fanned. The "chatter" is that Boner is a shu-in for the position for the third time, though. I'd like to see his Damnocrat-sucking ass gone from that position

My House rep (Nevada) is a Damocrat (Dina "Fake southern accent" Titus), so she, no doubt, votes against Boner, anyway.

Agree but the GOP establishment is run by Chamber of Commerce and progressive big business who are open border anti-American worker, these folks are hard to beat they control the money train however if the American middle class ever hopes to regain any strength we must rid the GOP of these groups or build our own party. Personally I'm done voting for the GOP establishment.

I want everyone to know that US House Rep, Randy Neugbaugher from Lubbock TX is planning on voting for John Boener

If you live in his district, call his offices right now.
I am not on social media or I would be posting this everywhere right now.
If you are on social media, please help get the word out.

His office personnel said his thoughts were something to the effect that "that position needs experience":banghead:

Very "risk averse" except when it comes to spending our national treasure.
