Wow, just wow. After seeing that craziness, here's some cool vids to wash the bad taste of that one away lol:

YouTube - Special Forces Firefight with Insurgents in Iraq (night time)

LiveLeak.com - U.S Special Forces Hostage Rescue in Iraq. (wish the quality was better, cool to see scuba ninjas or D-boys or whoever they are in action and damn they stormed that place with a vengeance!)

And here is a sweet little gem of a video you don't see every day:

YouTube - 2nd batalion 1st special warfare training group CQB

    Great post Fiend,

It's a shame the lack of firepower in the first video :) Question, with NVGs and NVG friendly RDS on each rifle, why do our guys use lasers? It looks cool as shit but I'm not sure what they are used for...

D-boys for sure in the first video from Sig Fiend, looking at how they're kitted out. Mabye green berets, but I'd bet on Delta.

In the second video, note the BDUs they're wearing have the chest pockets relocated to the sleeves near the shoulder. Those are modified, as the woodland BDUs never came that way - they literally took the chest pockets off and had them sewn to the sleeves. This was apparently a very popular mod among the high speed low drag types before the new MARPAT and ACU stuff came out. MARPAT and ACU uniforms incorporated the mod, though the Airforce seems to have missed the boat on this one and still issues old-style BDU pattern in their new camoflage.

The lasers are IR lasers. Why? Because it's hard to get a sight picture even on an EOTech or Aimpoint when you're wearing NVG. And why not? We're not exactly fighting people who have NVG themselves, or if they do it's definitely not like they have many of them. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/policy/army/fm/3-23-25/appf.htm
