And is there any more news on whether Texas might leave the union if congress pushed to far.

Saint Louis County.
How is the economy down there. I hear it is better there than in the rest of the country.
I also hear that you guys have lots of people moving from the upper states down to Texas.

Has the Gubernatorial election happened down there yet and if so. Who won?
I'm rootin for Perry. Crossin my fingers for yall.

The election isn't till next year... Kay Bailey is pretty much becoming annoying though trying to divide the Republican party. She is playing the negative politics that she learned in DC.

Not sure who else is running yet. I think Kinky Friedman is tossing his hat into the Democrats ring.

I hope Perry gets it. We need people in hi places that get what this Country and the Constitution are about. Perry sounds like that kind of person.
It was encouraging to hear him consider succession, not that I want any state to succeed from the union, but when Congress and the President have forgotten what the Constitution is and what this Country is, it is time for states to break away and take the Constitution up for their own and live by it.
If worse comes to worse I would hope that Texas would do just that. It would give the rest of us Red Blooded Americans a place to go and a worth while NEW COUNTRY to call home.
