I don't even know where to start with this clown.

“I was thinking about it this morning, how this story ties into everything we’re going through,” says Carrey, who, thanks to the technology, plays Scrooge as well as the three ghosts haunting him. “Every construct we’ve built in American life is falling apart. Why? Because of personal greed and ambition. Capitalism without regulation can’t protect us against personal greed.. . .

I used to think he was pretty smart, funny and talented, then I turned 13. That was back in the "In Living Color" days. I haven’t had much respect for him in quite a while.

    My favorite...

Wonder what unemployed actors think of personal greed and ambition as Carrey is paid to play four roles.

Jim Carrey’s noisiness appears to be wearing quite thin, and a film that features him as not only the protagonist but also three other characters sounds like far too much of a no longer good thing. Carrey would do well to follow the path of the equally obnoxious Robin Williams and move on to more serious film roles, even if it kills his career. Yes, I’m well aware that Carrey’s occasional serious performances have been pretty awful, but he’s dead either way, and it would be best to die with honor instead of ignominy.

I've never been a big fan of Jim Carrey. This guy sums him up pretty well. This is a good opportunity to save some money over the holidays.

I think we'll spend the money seeing the ice sculptures at The Gaylord.

    Mark Steyn slams him:

Jim Treacher asks, "Guess who hates capitalism now?"
The first guy to make $20 million for saying words & making faces in front of a camera.
    True. Jim Carrey

, currently starring as Scrooge in the not-quite-as-boffo-as-it-should-be new version of A Christmas Carol, opines:
“I was thinking about it this morning, how this story ties into everything we’re going through,” says Carrey, who, thanks to the technology, plays Scrooge as well as the three ghosts haunting him. “Every construct we’ve built in American life is falling apart. Interesting. As Mr. Treacher notes, Jim Carrey is the beneficiary of one of the most unregulated capitalist endeavors on the planet. Yet he grew up in Ontario. Had he wanted to be "protected against personal greed," he could have remained up north where his own particular industry is one of the most regulated in a highly regulated land. He could have made publicly funded movies subsidized by Cinedole Canada and Telewelfare Quebec and all the other government agencies for a nice four- or (if he's lucky) five-figure sum.

And yet he chose to reject this bulwark against "personal greed" and scram south. Poor wretch. Oh! captive, bound, and double-ironed — and by Ace Ventura, Pet Detective 2.

I can ad this nutjob to the list of movies made by certain actors that I will not watch. If nothing else is on that I can watch, probably never happen, I can always pop in a tape or dvd made by some real Americans.

Among those to boycott are Hanoi Jane, Babbs Streisand, Cher, Clooney, Sarandon or her hubby, that great american (purposefully uncapitalized) Baldwin, Letterman, or any of the other fruitcakes promoting Green crapola.

Never have watched one Opera but I plan to when Sarah Palin is on next week.

After reading Sting's rant, I can no longer listen to him or The Police. Hell, I can't, and haven't, even listened to Michael Medved since he said Roman Polanski should be left alone and that using the long arm of the law on him was a waste of taxpayer money.

There is so much out there to listen to, watch, and read, I'll be damned if I'll waste my time and money on these clowns.
