CORPUS CHRISTI — Corpus Christi police are seeking an attacker after a teenager was stabbed 26 times.
Capt. Todd Green on Monday said the 17-year-old victim suffered non-life threatening wounds.
Green told The Associated Press that John Hernandez of Corpus Christi was discovered when someone passing by "heard what he thought was a cat crying in the bushes."
Green says the victim, who was found early Saturday outside a residence, was unable to tell officers who stabbed him or where it happened.
Green says Hernandez had 25 stab wounds to the front, torso, abdomen and chest area, plus one back wound.
Green says Hernandez was transported to a hospital. A spokeswoman for Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial, Sherry Carr-Smith, told AP that she had no record Monday of anyone with the victim's name.

Alot of it is moving out to the smaller towns that don't have the resources/manpower CCPD has.

That is what I am hearing. However, it still remains a huge problem in the city.

When I started there back in '83, we had two rival Mexican gangs (old school Hatfield and McCoy types). They caused a ton of trouble then. Of course, the Bandido's were still prevalent then too. They operated more on the south side and Flour Bluff, as well as North Beach (called CC Beach now).

Then MS13 moved in. Not wanna-be CC boys, but real MS 13. It got worse from there.

I don't think the Jamaican Gangs ever landed there with any significance.

    Corpus Christi Gang Lawlessness

I will begin by saying that I enjoy the friendship and American spirit of our Hispanic people of Texas whom pay taxes and have served in all our wars against all foreign enemies. And who just want a piece of the American Dream....

But it seems like a large group of young gangbangers, some illegal immigrants, or "undocumented aliens" as obama and the peecee crowd chose to call them, or wets as we formerly referred to them have taken over Corpus Christi. from the frequent reports of murder, robberies, drive by shootings and like lawlessness and it is time for the Texas Rangers and possibly the Texas National Guard to come upon the scene and do some culling of the wheat from the chaff !!

This would call for the checking out of a lot of people and the hated ACLU would be sceaming "profiling" but the good, honest , and honorable Hispanic population would be exhonarated and likely have eventual relief.

Why is not the Police, County Sheriff, and even the Governor of Texas on top of this?

Corpus has no more crime, or I should say no higher crime rate, than any other similar city. The border towns are MUCH worse.

Remember, Texas LEOs, with the exception of those few who have entered into agreements with the feds and become specially trained, cannot enforce federal laws. That includes immigration laws.
