It was admited last night during the Texas-KU game, the BCS is a business. The teams that are going to bring in more revenue and statistics, to help the sponsors out are the ones that are voted in. Yes, conf. wins count as well, but this just goes to show you that the Florida-Arkansas game was a farce, that the refs are out to help the top teams, especially in the SEC. They want Florida in there somehow, but I am hoping, praying, that Alabama stomps their asses when they play...

Saw that same interview and had always suspected as much. Yes the teams have to win a certain amount of games to get to a certain stage then good old money and greed take over.

In my opinion, the SEC doesnt have the teams that the Big 12 does. Florida, LSU, Alabama and Arkansas are about theonly teams that I think are worth a crap, maybe not this year, but they are the most consitent through out the years. Now you step into the Big 12, you have Texas, OU, OSU, Baylor, A&M, Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri and Iowa State, and every single one of those teams are nothing but one big rivalry when it comes to a conference game, even if one of those teams isnt doing so well, i.e. Texas vs. OU. The BCS is nothing but a load of crap...

Ummm.... Some of us are hoping Auburn upsets Bama, then Bama beats Florida.

Then TCU vs. Texas. I don't care what your affiliation is. An all Texas championship would be way cool.

Of course even then the BCS still sucks.

An NCAA football playoff would be bigger than the NFL playoffs. I think it would rival the NCAA BB tourney.

UT all the way... Been bleeding Burnt Orange since birth... An all Texas Championship would be the greatest, but I doubt Auburn or 'Bama will do the job that needs to be done. I can only hope and pray...

I'd rather play Florida.. bama defense is stout. First things first beat the aggies, beat the corn huskers, and then we can talk about the bcs. Sorry TCU folks.

I'll disagree, but that is also my opinion... ;)

The SEC provides a pretty tough schedule week in and week out. Even the perennial also ran's (Go Cocks!) will either beat or take a front runner to the wire every year. The problem with the also ran's is that they lack one aspect of the total game. Alot of the same comments apply to the Big 12 as well. My wife went to Grad School @ USC, so we've been Gamecock fans for along time (often painfully), but have been pulling for UT for the last 12 years, so I've got some history with both conferences.
