Looking for a good pistolsmith in the Houston/Magnolia area.

I know a guy who went to Vanden Berg Customs and the guy was impressed. His 1911 needed something simple and the guy fixed right there for him and showed him how eventhough he had a 2 month waiting list. Check them out.

Twice I have used Briley (3rd on that list provided by Clay) for 1911 work, and I was extremely satisfied with their work. One job was a simple grip safety fix, and the other was a $1,000 customization of an Officer's ACP. No regrets.

They are located just inside Beltway 8, just north of I-10, on a back street a couple blocks behind the Home Depot.

Good to know! That is closer to me than the the guy I was talking about. I will check them out when needed.
