I called it a six when I hit this one back on the 15th in Pearsall. When I took it back to camp everyone else called it an eight. By B&C standards, it's probably an eight. Either way it' just dinner now. What do ya'll think?

That is a 8 pointer, I am in Iraq for my 4th year and missing deer season again. Will be home in San Antonio for R&R at christmas and have no where to hunt. Oh did I mention the swarms of deer in my subdivision don't count.

According to Boone and Crockett a point does not count unless it measures an inch or more.
That just goes to show how silly B&C scores can be.

    It's an eight.

Hard to tell from the picture. If the point doesn't measure an inch, it ain't a point. Of course, you ain't cooking the antlers for dinner.

Peyton...message me when you are home I'll get you to a hunt brother. I always hated that...being deployed and you can't eat what you hunt then... I have a few areas I can get you to for a hunt. Always try and take care of a brother.
