I would be willing to bet that all you can shoot in an indoor range is slugs. I don't have allot of experience with indoor ranges but I doubt you'll find one that will let you shoot anything but slugs. Nice gun but it looks a little .......... different. Is the barrel and tube after market?

No aftermarket parts yet. It does have the 8 shot magazine though.

    Edit: actually its a 7 shot mag + 1.

Not yet but I plan to go soon!

Edit: Shot 20 slugs off at the closest indoor range to me. Thing is a beast! I could shoot it all day but then I would be broke. :(

My Rem 870, 20" barrel, +3 tube extension, generic short foregrip, 6 shell side saddle, Hogue Gel pistol grip. My home defender, very good in close quarters and pistol grip is pretty comfortable to shoot as well, put some 3" turkey loads through it to test it out. Fits nicely under my couch. Need to add a light though...

With most black powder riffles you have to take them damn near completely apart sock them with more solvent than my lungs can handle and then spend the next 2 hours cleaning and finding all the parts and then another hour figuring out where all the parts go in the damn gun. After all that you will be wondering why you bought that #%^&^%%*%*& Any way it shoots damn good when the wife lets me shoot it.

cleaning a black powder rifle : it is a bit easier and completely safe to clean them with hot soapy water then go back and clean as you would normally .... the dishwasher dont do a good job !!!!

LOL I Almost dish-washed the cap and ball revolver once. I don't have anymore black powders now but I always started out with hot soapy water. I was surprised it works better than solvent.

Yes, I'm speaking of yourn. Ducks or squirrels? Can it take slugs?
I've taken both. The barrel is not rifled but you can shoot slugs. There is a rifled barrel attachment you can add to shoot rifled slugs more accurately.

Coolcrush, how is the recoil on the pistol grip stock vs. a regular stock? If you have shot both that is. I am looking into getting that set up on an 870 or 590.

Look into the Knoxx SpecOps stock, you can find them at blackhawk.com. they look sweet and if you get the 139.99 one it has springs built in to help reduce the recoil.
SpecOps Adjustable Shotgun Stock - BLACKHAWK!

I have never tried one but have read some testimonials into them and everyone says they work.
