    People need to get mad about taxation ...

    I'll say it again. The day Americans realize the power they hold by not paying taxes, and utilize that power by refusing en mass to pay their federal tax returns in an anti-tax Tea Party, they'd see how quickly they can bring the federal government to its knees and cry, "Uncle!!!"

    The worst taxes are associated with dying: you earn your money during your lifetime and are taxed on it, any investments from that taxed income is then taxed, then when you die there's a death/estate tax, and finally what money is left over for your family members is hit with an inheritance tax.

    THAT IS TYRANNY, AND THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Here is a quote from a Colorado Congressman, Jared Polls;

    "In America, it's not a sin to be rich nor is it a crime to die rich," said Rep. Jared Polis, D-Colo. "This bill gives our nation's wealthiest families the ability to know exactly what their obligation to the nation that fostered their wealth will be, and it is fair and it is just."

    CO-2 (Boulder) is where this ass clown is from. "their obligation to the nation"... he is stating that because these folks have been successful and worked hard, the government (sub-nation) has a claim to a substantial part of their estate. I don't agree with estate taxes at all, let alone almost half...

    This douche bag should just move to China or Cuba to be with like minded comrades.

    You should read his site... immigration reform, health care, left wing pinko. But, that's what we have to contend with. That's also another reason that our country in its present form is winding down. I see no way that the regional differences are not going to sharper and as the socialist areas demand more, that there are some Free State Movement that gain support and momentum.

    I know it may be crude, but I can think of nothing else to respond to that communistic a**hole other than F*** YOU!!! Who died and left that jerk the moral pillar and quasi-diety for humanity?

    It doesn't matter if it is outrageos or insulting.

    You die, therefore you own the government almost half of your property. Makes all the sense in the world. . .right?

    The reason it doesn't matter is because most Americans have become apathetic or hateful of people who are more wealthy than they are. They think that "if they" had that much money, then "they" would be more than happy to pay the taxes. If fact, "those rich" people didn't really deserve their money and property. They "stole" it from the poor people that labored for them tirelessly while they collected the money. Therefore "the people" have a "right" to rich people's money.

    Sick. Sad, but true.

    +1,000,000! A complicit media has helped promote that propaganda so well that a majority of Americans believe it. I'll also add that the money you earn in your lifetime is never really yours, but instead finances that the federal government lets you borrow for a while. All government is tyranny. I'd rather live in a Mad Max world myself.
