Houston ATF agent arrested in Louisiana

METAIRIE, Louisiana -- An ATF agent from Houston found himself on the other side of the law recently during a trip to Metairie, Louisiana.
Russell Vanderwerf, 44, is head of the regulatory arm that inspects license holders for the Houston ATF.
He was arrested in Metairie earlier this month and charged with simple criminal damage for allegedly damaging a fire alarm and other property inside his room at the Residence Inn hotel.
According to the arrest report, a deputy for the Metairie Sheriff’s Department noticed the bedroom door had been removed and replaced with a piece of plywood. The report said the plywood had a circular hole cut in the middle, wrapped in gray duct tape.
"It appeared to be used in some sort of sex act," the report said.
The deputy also found a child’s sock and Elmo toy.
The report said the hotel manager had received an anonymous call from someone who said numerous young men had been entering and exiting the room and that the caller could hear "sex noises" coming from the room.
Vanderwerf told deputies he disabled the fire alarms because they kept going off. He also admitted that he put the plywood on the door, but didn't explain why, the report said.
The Houston ATF office had no comment and referred all calls to the Washington headquarters.

I have to agree the title needs to be changed in order to be PC but the evidence is pretty damning along with admission of punting up the plywood.

Highly possible when the word gets back to Washington, be he accused or just rumored to be, a Czar job might be in the offing....Obamageddon D. C. has become
a national haven for weirdos, dingbats, hippies, fruits and nuts...The ATF job is too
    ordinary for that one...

WTF??????????? Ply wood for real! this guy may not be guilty yet but he might need to be involved in an accidental fall down some stairs on his way to jail.

You should change that title; he is not guilty of anything, yet.

LOL ... do you drive out of town with a large piece of plywood with hinges and a glory hole cut in it? Then put it up, have a bunch of "young men" come by your hotel room, and the neighbors call you in because they heard sex noises. I mean he taped the hole ...

Sure, he's not guilty, yet, but when you are standing around in a room covered in blood with a running chainsaw and 50 mauled people strewn about whilst screaming "Oh look! More people trying to get me lucky charms!", it's kinda obvious.
