My favorite was when the guy next to us insisted we try the trigger on his gun. He put $30 new springs in it. We were shooting Colt Python, Springfield TRP, HK mk23 and that glorious P210, and he wanted us to experience the trigger on his Sigma. Not even kidding lol

Bet the Sigma had a better trigger than that Nagant.

Yes, Colt made my gun hideous and once the Nickel comes off 1 part it's just a matter of time until it starts flaking off everywhere. Maybe I'll get it cerakoted some blingy color.

I didn't notice it was messed up until a while after they sent it back and was frankly tired of dealing with them. They had been working on the thing for several months. Even if they did admit damaging it what could they do? They don't have any new ones laying around to send me.

Never sending them shit again. No wonder they're going out of business.

Ditto what Savage20 said a few posts up.

It was a fun day, but HOT.

A big thanks to grumper for letting me put a few down range with the suppressed 5.7 and the Python. Both are very sweet pistols.

Mathilde and I enjoyed meeting everyone.

Looking forward to the next meet up.

Crazy priced. Yeah $2k+ is what folks are asking for one with the correct grips, no buggered up parts like manhandled side plate screws or out of time cylinder, original finish, box and papers etc...

Mine, I knew would never be more than a shooter because it was missing the grips, had some rust spots underneath the mismatched grips and a patch of Nickel starting to come off.

This is a pretty good place to read up on Pythons:

It was great meeting new folks and seeing old faces. I shot pistols the whole time and by the time we went to look for IXLR8, he had just left. It was great meeting KawiVulcan, Major Kong and his daughter Mathile(sp?), and of course grumper. They all brought out some nice toys.

We all left by 11am. It was packed and HOT!

It was great meeting the few of y'all who actually did manage to wake up early enough! And yeah, it was nice and humid by the time we were packing up...

Sorry I missed you. I should have come to the pistols first....

What type of barrel is on the FiveSeven? All of the threaded baarrels I found had some odd theading pattern that I could not find a suppressor for. Apparently my Sparrow will handle it, but there is no way to attach it. I would have liked to have heard how quiet it was.

It's a Jarvis barrel. Yes it has a weird threading: metric 10mm LH or something goofed up like that. I had to use the Silencerco FN adapter to make the Sparrow fit on it. The adapter starts to unscrew as you shoot but it stays snug in the Sparrow at least. So you have to tighten just the adapter every few shots instead of both the adapter and the can.

You seem to have that problem often. What's up with that?

I've heard Loctite will fix that.

    Allen, where were you?

You are probably at ASC more than anyone I know.

Major Kong, that is a sweet .17 that you brought. Afterward I was kicking myself for not giving it a try. I was afraid I may like it too much and end up with one in my safe.... :)
