OK guys to get a DFW trek south started I need some idea of - what, where, when, cost, is there a link to the range?
You two knock your head together, fire back some info and I do my part on this end and we'll make this happen.
You guys are the greatest!!!!

I think the best range for the Austin area is lone star. www.ctpta.com I think. other than that in this area there is astro and Stan's up in Florence and Eagle peak out by cedar park and Reds north and south. I think that lone star would be more accommodating for another shoot though.
EDIT: The link is wrong. Don't use the link it's scary !

Mo, Are you talking about the San Antonio shoot at the end of Jan?? Or later in the spring?? I know there is already a thread about the S.A. shoot. D.C. & I will be there. Hopefully some of the DFW crew will be able to make it. As far as around Austin, I like Lone Star pretty well, covered shooting areas, 2 pistol and 1 rifle. Kinda laid back, good folks running the place. It is in Lockhart, just south of Austin on Hwy.183. Or really anywhere ya'll want to meet....
Have gun, will travel....

Just a note; If it starts to rain, load your gear unless you have 4X4....it gets nasty really quick!!

Hey is betting allowed? Who is the bookie? My money is on DFW for first and third place. I can picture Mo (aka Pistol Pete Rose) running numbers on this.

Looking past January into early spring.
I need to start a thread for the January shoot as well but this is a early May or in that time frame.
Not knowing the ranges down there I figured you and DC can decide which range and then a date can be set.
So give me a name and directions and I'll handle the rest on this end.
Thanks

nekkid or not, i ain't laffin' at a man capable of giving a .50BMG enema
Yeah but after this weekend I realized I had to face my fears and I'd rather stare down a 50 cal than be blinded by shinny white legs..........
At least with the 50 cal you get put out of your misery but left blind life becomes colorless;)

Mo, you would likely need some "eye bleach" to remove the image burned into your corneas...but at least I know not to go out like that! They aren't really white, per se' more along the lines of "un-dead greyish- blue" MG

Navy, I don't think so... even I don't want to see me nekkked!
