    Stuck in n.y.
I'm going to be building my mom an AR15 carbine soon. Yeah, thats right...don't mess with Texas women!

Anyway, she loves my Eotech and wants something like it, but she doesn't want to pay the $500 they're going for now. She's not going to any carbine classes or three gun matches soon, so its doesn't have to be uber tactical. I'm just looking for a good red dot or holographic sight for around $150. Any suggestions? Experience is appreciated. Thanks.

We just bought an AR for my son and my wife liked it so much she took it back. He wasn't too happy about it on one hand, but on the other, he thinks it rocks to see his mom shooting an AR.

We'll be getting another one for the boy.

Might check Primary Arms; they have red dots in the $90-$110 range and get good reviews from the AR forums. Have a PA M4 (aimpoint clone made to Primary Arms specs) on my AR and it performs great. Put their Gen 2 micro red dot on a Buckmark and it has been flawless; sighted in at 25 yds. They are located in the Houston area and have great customer service.
