What it means, even as slang, is subject to interpretation and context.
Just because we think we know, doesn't mean we do.
Start making assumptions like that as a basis for action, and we'll be toast faster than we are already becoming.

Was his presentation 'calculated to cause alarm' or was it some form of parade stance?
