As detestable as the present US situation has become, and as disgusted as millions of us have gotten, revolution is out of the question because individual gun owners face aircraft, armament, and resources beyond the imagination.

Only if, and only when the US Military rises up in a coup of some sort will the common Patriot in civilian clothing see revolutionary change. And in so many cases some General decides he loves the power and another Chavez is born. The end result is seldom the hopes and prayers of the common citizen as it was in the American Revolution where our Founding Fathers gave the power to the people. So in reality the ballot in the coming elections is all the hope and ammo we have.

IMHO the only real American patriots are among the counties populace and in the military. Politicians are nothing more than power hungry individuals and groups with only their own interest at heart.
I think we will see a military takeover of our government and here’s the scenario I believe that will trigger it.
I believe (and there are signs of this today) that our government will order our military to take action upon the American populace at which time the patriots in the military will take action against the government.
I do not believe this will become a military run country but the military will stay in power until a new constitutional government can be placed in power.
Call me crazy or whatever you wish but at this point in time based on current events this is how I see things taking place.

Honestly at some point it will happen our country is fragmenting,race, religion,immigration and corrupt government all combine for a path to disaster, what saddens me is so many guys died in various wars past two hundreds and yet here we are destroying ourselves within.

That is a possibility but I really don't see that happening. The mind set of our military is vastly different than most other countries IMO.

The difference between us and other countries suffering military coups is that our military is not made-up of peasants forced into servitude by a lack of choice. Our military prides itself in protecting our American way of life, and I don't believe for one second that we have want-a-be dictators in the general ranks.

I think that if Obama ordered the military to attack the citizens as some have theorized he would find the generals telling him to go screw himself. Oh, sure, they'll quell riots and such, but they won't help him turn this country into something different.

start over from scratch. that's just what they want. new world government with new world currency. watching what is going on with both political parties is downright awful. the lies that we have been told over and over again is just going to continue.

Alot of it depends on the right factors coming in to place.

1. the right catylist
2. a strong leader
3. a way to organize

If these things come together at the right time, I believe it will happen.

Alot of it depends on the people deciding it is worth getting off their lazy butts and moving into action. That may be the biggest hurdle.

Our boys and girls that put on the uniform are patriots. I think/hope the military would stay out of the fight between private citizen and politician. After the fight, I think you are right, the military will defend our constitution and hold our nation together while we do a constitutional re-boot. When we talk unemployment, the only people employed are private citizens, government workers and welfare are all overhead. Not saying we don't need some gov't workers, just not as many and only doing what the constitution and the state governments allow, no more.

You are right. There are not geographic dividing lines. Just a nationwide coalition of politicians both state and federal lining their pockets with private citizens property and wealth and another gropu of citizens that so far seem to tolerate their subserviant role. The revoltion will come in the form of refusal to pay taxes and a major movment in the polls shifting away from the two party juggernaughts. A libertarian winning seats would be a revolution of sorts.
