So, I work at an ECP (entry control point) that allows the flow of traffic, both mobile and on foot. Well, i've noticed that none of us soldiers over here have much water, we have learned to conserve it really good. AND here's what erks me. As I see all this Iraqi day-workers leave, each of them carry out one of those little 12 pack cases of water (if you've been here you know the ones i'm talking about) And, I don't really mind TOO much because there's always water at the DFAC. But, we were talking today..the nation's debt is now like..11 trillion or something correct? Well..assuming to bottle the water..pay people to do it, and produce the plastic...lets say it would cost .10/piece..mon-sat they leave with a pack a piece, theres around 48 iraqi's who come and go everyday..thats over 17,000/year JUST from the post i'm currently operating out of. SO, times that by two, thats 34k/year. Times that by say...10 for a SMALL estimate for the number of big posts still operating in Iraq thats 340,000. Sorry for the bad grammer and everything it's bed time
