Anyone know of any other Houston meets, social, that get together regularly to shoot lead and the bull? Can be cowboy, tactical, tacti-cool, shotgun, or even rubberband gun.

    Looking for something already established.

Indoor ranges = no magnum, no shootgun, no "real" rifles. Even though I usually shoot at Hot Wells, I wouldn't recommend it for a meet.

Back to ranch ... anything established out there? I don't mind barging in.

I was thinking Indoor ones for the heat of summer.
That and to quote the obamanation "spread the wealth" to the different ranges in the area.

Plus, we could fly the TGT Standard while we are there.

Ok, any suggestions for ranges for the rotation?

Even those that are not super nice but are safe and nice enough with good people there.

Me +3 ... For any Houston meet that does not conflict with Dallas, Austin, or now San Antonio.

Not to rain on your parade ... but are there any groups out there in our city that are already established?

They's coming to get us Pa; better get Adam and Hoss! And don't forget Hop Sing; he makes a mean bowl of grits.

I about spit on my monitor as it reminded me of this ...

In an appearance on the Tonight Show shortly before his death, Johnny Carson asked him about the fact that there were only men on the Ponderosa for those many years. Landon quipped that his TV father and brothers weren't gay, but "Thank God, Hop Sing was!"
