http://austingunliquidators.com/ $ 35 for FFL. I did choose them because they have arrangements with Bud's, so you don't have to worry about sending documentation. Guys where very nice and fast. I had the tracking number, the called me about 1/2 hour after they got the gun delivered.

I'll only use them if I know ahead of time it's the nicer guy working.

One of the guys that works there is a real dickhole.

Who are people in North Austin/Round Rock area using for transfers these days?
I normally use this guy. Works out of his house... Very friendly and knowledgeable. http://oldcannon.com/

Is it the older looking guy that is the dickhole? I actually prefer dealing with him

One of his partners sounds like a real douche nozzle, but he never works the counter.

Elite guns off Parmer will do FLL transfers for $30. I haven't used them but have bought from them and they seem pretty forthcoming and fair

Yep. And I can get four transfers for that at CTGW (2 if I don't have Texas Law Shield).

If Elite would offer $5 of $10 transfers and market the hell out of it, they'd see traffic into their store go through the roof.

Good guys. They just need more traffic.

Keep racking up the posts... You're almost there!

Apologies if my post wasn't up to expectations. I'll work on being more constructive in the future. Maybe I should have mentioned that I have shot at Red's several times and have been looking at buying a on Gunbroker, so was a bit surprised at the high cost.

Have you ever looked at the prices in the gun cases? If so, a transfer fee of $50 should not surprise you.

Big fan of central Texas gun works, quick, cheap, friendly & efficient, unless you're a long way away I'd struggle to see any reason to go anywhere else
