WTT/WTB- HK P7 Shooters condition

Not looking for a safe queen or a collectors piece. I plan on shooting it and shooting at a lot I have a decent collection of guns and could probably whip up a trade but could also do a cash price if its right according to condition.

You can certainly shoot it alot, but it will burn the heck out of your hand. They heat up very quickly, that is the only reason I sold mine off. It was a great shooter though.

I'll shoot 2-300 rnds with mine and have no problems. But I grew up workin in a kitchen so holding hot items doesn't bother me. I think the P7m8 has a heat guard to solve that problem.

I have a plum slide P7 PSP with 6 mags (1 used 5 NIW) I may part with. I'll let you know after he holidays

Too nice for my price range. i have a 700ish dollar price ceiling

A nice Grade B P7 will do what you want for that amount of money and will still look great (of course, I think all P7s look good). If you take it easy and don't try to shoot 100 rds. as fast as you can, it will work just fine. I've never shot my M8 (that has the plastic shield in the trigger guard) to the point it was uncomfortable ('course I only did one session of 28 rds. and it did not get hot). I would suspect if you shoot a couple of mags while working on accuracy, and then let it set a few minutes, it would work fine. CDNN supposedly has some PSPs that may be what you're looking for. Also check www.budsgunshop.com (I checked Buds and they don't list any right now). Good luck.

They do heat up pretty quick, mine would get too hot for me after about 200 rounds. But instead of selling mine I just bought another one. One to shoot while one cools off.

Ive had P7 M8's & M13's for many years, carried them concealed and just shot the heck out of them over the years. out of habit, when shooting off a bench, I drop the slid and let the rig cool in seperate pieces. It seperates and rejoins faster than any other handgun in existance.

I have Never noticed a "hot hand" effect from shooting them...

I think CDNN has a regular supply, but don't quote me. And they (P7's) do get hot after several mags in a row, but who brings just one gun to the range?
