For BBQ, Harris County Smokehouse at Hwy6/1960 @ 290 (next to Gander Mountain) is good with great ambiance.

I still like Carriage House Cafe. Awesome ambiance, good food, good prices.

45 and 10 are the dividers. OTS is east of 45.

I like the idea if new location every month. I think Corkscrew is worth the extra 15min drive to have the 2nd best BBQ in Houston. And the best north of I10.

You know, another location just east of 45 (on the feeder road) is the new Bernie's Backyard. They have lots of places for us to sit and 5 or 6 food trucks. The food is pretty good. You can get beer, etc. I think it would be a perfect venue.
