We've upgraded to the new version of vBulletin, which does things quite a bit differently and has some new features. Give me a week or so to get things sorted out and the forum template redone (couldn't use the old one).

    Thanks

Everything is COMPLETELY different on the backend as far as changing the looks. It'll take me a while to figure it all out. It changed to a much more dynamic CSS based layout.

Dang ! For a second there it felt like I wasn't in Texas anymore. I had to sign out then sign back in to make sure I was at TGT. It feels so generic

I'll see if it grows on me but so far I don't like it! Like I said so far, I might get used to it. LOL! Ya know a splash of color would go a long way around here.

I hope it's similar to the old design because this is awful. The templates that come with a new script usually are. LOL I don't envy you your task. I'm working on 4 jobs at the same time right now.

Dang, for a minute there I thought this place had shut down or something. I was :banghead: until I found this thread, as I really like this place so far.

For any of you that know how CSS works and it's intricate affinity for detail ... well they've taken the standard 50 variables, and turned them into about 150 different ones in 4.0. This means I have total control over the layout and look, but that means it's going to take me a while to sort it out, LOL.

I like css. You can make some very nice page layouts with it. Stuff you couldn't do in plain html. It does take a little time to get used to though.

If any of you have been on XDTalk since they changed the format you will appreciate the WHITE background. If it so much easier to read text on this forum than XDTalk. Please don't go to a black background with read thread titles; I'm already blind enough. I like it!

It looks like it has some real potential. I hate the template now, but I'm going to keep my mouth shut till you have your time to work it out. Glad you're keeping the board up during the transition, ugly colors be damned.
