I just got my Trijicon MRO that will be going on my SBR once paperwork comes back. I ordered it via Amazon Prime for a fairly decent price. The front lens doesn't look like it is seated properly; it doesn't lay flat. I've tried to take some photos to show this.

Does anybody have one of these?

That isn't right. I would contact Trijicon, hopefully you bought from a reputable dealer. It would be a damn shame if it was fake

It's done on purpose apparently. I googled "Trijicon MRO tilt" and there are several threads on this. I'm calling Monday though...

Good morning and thank you for your patronage, the tilted objective lens is supposed to be that way, so to ease your mind it is correct. It has that tilt for a few reasons, to help reduce the tube effect, to reduce forward emissions, and the way that the Dot is portrayed internally. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us.*

Wow, that's interesting. As someone who into perfection when it comes to machining/ building stuff, that would really, really bug me. You would think they would machine the body to actually look decent and not half-assed

If it was only a few people, I would be too. However, this is present on all Trijicon MROs. In fact, Aimpoint even has an explanation on their webpage.

Upon further inspection, my lens tilts with respect to the LED beam. So I'm convinced, more so than I was before.

    False alarm, people. Carry on.

The design is on purpose. They idea is to not reflect the LED directly into your eye as it's been found to be damaging to eye. I remember an article about it through the feed. Also about EO Tech getting in trouble with military for false claims.

Yup, that's just how the MRO is. Mine was really close to being sent back and I thought "Maybe I should Google this..."

Looks weird to me, but if it serves a purpose and the optic works, I really could care less about how the front lens looks from the front.
