Anyone looking for a dog? A buddy of mine found this guy abandoned and has been putting him up for a few days but can't keep him so if nobody wants him he will be going with animal services. All I know about him is what he told me I can get more pics if you need.

There's thousand oaks barber shop right up the street from you Daryl. I haven't been in a while because of the wait. They did me right in the past. Trimmed up my eyebrows and razored my neck.

Thanks for the recommendation that's where I went, I'm happy with it and the wait wasn't bad at all, maybe 5 minutes.

So who is going to host another get together?

There is this one in the spring time, which might seem far, but very much worth it. You get members from all over Texas and just about any kind of firearm you can imagine.

But as far as local, we haven't had one in quite some time.

I would be up for one over at Bexar Community, but seeing as my schedule needs a few weeks to plan a day off, I'm not the best one to start planning it. I'd be up for a Saturday from the second weekend in February on.

I am thinking I could set up like a breakfast followed by range time, let me see what I can put together for the End of Feb. No promises yet...but any takers?

If you can lock down a date and most importantly a range you would like to do this at, then I would go ahead and start a completely new thread titled accordingly. It'll bring more attention to it and you will be able to keep track of just how many people would be attending.

Something doesn't move for 7 months... either dead or in deep hibernation.
Hometown groups tend to be that way. Personally, I don't search specific sub forums and just use the "New Posts" button up top to keep up on forum activity. SA Group is pretty active, we just don't use this thread for announcements very often.

Is the San Antonio group still active? If so when/where do yall meet? Are there ever any range meets, swap meets etc... Or does "the group" only exist on tgt?

Quail hunter, lately seems they usually meet at dietz. Keep an eye open for the next thread. I was part of the group til I moved down here. Hope to make it up in the near future to see the guys again. You'll enjoy shooting with those guys. It's a blast. We used to meet at bexar but lately it's been dietz.

Best thing to do is start a new thread, announce a time frame you want to get together and see who responds. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss. Advance planning is the key. If you give say a month notice, many of us will adjust our schedule, if possible, for it.

Where do you prefer to or usually shoot? Location is big for some folks as much as date and time is for others.

How far out they have rifle targets?
I was there about a year ago. They have two rifle bays, the one closest to the office had 50 and 100 yard target frames. The second had only 100 yard frames. They had to remove the 50s because idiots were shooting across the range into a neighbors yard.
