    Helotes!
I think they are the same folks at SAXET. They have a pretty big booth.

Yep, and I went by their store today given it was a beautiful day to go for a drive in the open Jeep. Unfortunately, I got there to find a 'Closed because of the gun show' sign on the front door. :(

I looked inside the best I could and it looked pretty small, I suspect they do most of their business online or at the SAXET show.

As it is not too far out of my way home from work, I may swing by again just to see what their shop is like; but to be honest I am not expecting much...

    Cheers! M2

Stopped by there again this afternoon, this time it was open. It is a small shop (the majority of their business is online or from gun show sales); but they did have a fair selection of items in it and the guys working there were extremely friendly. Most of the items in the store gets loaded up and taken to gun shows on the weekends, so Fridays and Mondays are probably not the best days to stop by (I would recommend calling before doing so); but if you're looking for some new gear it's worth the time to check them out. They realize they can't compete with large tactical shops like Top Brass, but for me it's more convenient to go by this place and they are located close to the SAPD West substation. I took a few quick pics just to give everyone an idea of what it's like...

Just to note they were still offloading stuff from this past weekend's gun show so some parts of the store look a little bare; but if you're near the Ingram Park Mall area of San Antonio it's worth a visit if you're interested in tactical gear. They aren't surplus shop so don't expect used gear like you see at some of the other stores in town, they only deal in new stuff. Plus, while they sell gun accessories, they don't sell guns or ammo.

Hope you don't mind me piggy backing here, but on a related note, I just noticed a 5.11 store recently opened up on 281 over by Brook Hollow. Seems it's been open for a few months but thought I would mention it as this thread reminded me that it was there.

    5.11 Tactical Store

15693 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78232

No worries, they actually had their "grand opening" this past Saturday with Kyle Lamb as the "guest star." Was going to drive over for it, but it's a bit of a haul from where we live and honestly, Top Brass has a huge selection of 5.11 gear plus more.

I do plan to check it out the next time I'm in the area, I occasionally volunteer out of the North substation and it would be on my way home; however, I doubt I'll make a special trip over there.

Not sure if these pics from their Facebook page will work, but I'll give it a try so everyone can see what the place looks like...

Thanks, I don't get out too much beyond my usual Dad/Husband/Work rounds, so I wasn't sure when it opened. I guess it is worth a look. Something tells me my cheap ass will walk out empty handed though. LOL!!!

I went by there a few weeks/months ago and the store was vacant.

Apparently they have moved and can now be found at: 6709 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78238

That's in the same strip mall as the Teppanyaki Chinese Buffet on the opposite side of 410.

Might swing by there on my way home today...
