At Buckeys, exit 142, Madisonville, where am I going? I called Curtis.
    Right on 21.
    Right on1428.
Left on 123. (It's the road to to church, pretty quick after you pass Boyd Rd.)
At the church, left on Conner.

You gonna toss out some steel on the rifle side or just the pistol? Wife and kid are still sleepin so idk if ill make it but if i do ill have to swing by home depot for some targets.

    Steel is up for pistols.
100 yard range has steel but it's not hanging right. Some chain or rope, etc, is needed to make those targets usable.
    I have paint.

Ben, Cam, Pie: good seeing y'all as usual. That guy, the one that talks funny, I think he was faking all those bullseyes.

Oh yea, thank you for lunch Cam! ;)

    Had a great time today!
Met some new people, awesome day all around.
Big thanks to Moonpie for fixing the bolt issue on my .225.

I agree about the bullseyes, I think he was using mirrors.

    You are most welcome Curtis.

Same, here, with a big thanks to Cam for feeding the hungry masses.

To everyone who missed it, we were having so much fun we forgot to take pictures. :)

In all seriousness, it was a heck of a fun day.

Curtis, don't forget to ask Moonpie how the new guy did with the Garand.

    Ben, Cam, Glockster & Moonpie,

Firstly, it was great to meet you all today and thanks for your hospitality, I felt welcome from the very first round.

Glockster, thanks for arranging the day it was all that you promised.

Ben, I really enjoyed the .22 target pistols they brought back the happy memories of my introduction to pistols.

Cam, the suppressed HK was a first for me, I was impressed at the balance of it, I hope I did it justice. Also, thanks again for lunch.

Moonpie, I was pleasantly surprised by the Colt it is such a pleasure to shoot but by far my favourite was the Garand, yet another first. I had been waiting years to hear the "ping" for real.

    Cheers.

    And a follow up report:

I'm not buying that Johnson is smart enough to suggest he was only kidding. More likely a low-level staffer said it in jest and Johnson rode the coat tail. ;)
