Certified Glock Armorer?

My freind who was a Certified Glock Armorer in Houston was killed on duty when a bullet entered the armhole in his bulletproof vest years ago, and I've moved to a tiny town with no phone book so.....

I need a Certified Glock Armorer near Austin, Marble Falls, Llano, Lampasas, Temple, Georgetown, Round Rock area.

And, I don't know how to find one.

Any Ideas?

Basically what I need is pretty simple:
On my Glock 27 I want the following parts installed:
Glock 26 Trigger Housing with Ejector
Glock 26 Extractor with Loaded Chamber Indicator Carbon Steel Matte
Glock 26 Spring Loaded Bearing with Loaded Chamber Indicator Black

I could do it myself with what I was taught by my freind, but just in case someone prosecuted me in the future .... better to have it done by a qualified professional (probably would sound better to a jury, imho ..... just in case, but hopefully the situation will never arise)

Basically what I'll end up with is a "low recoil, heavy barrelled, ported, more accurate, (so less likely to injure any innocent bystanders) Glock 26" that is made reliable for constant carry by a certified Glock Armorer, rather than just adding a "drop in barrel". Starting with a 27 upper, but with the thicker extended ported conversion barrel (which also adds weight since it is a thicker walled and extended barrel) , and making the 27 lower into a 26 lower. The creation should be sweet on felt recoil, and safer, for that second shot sight acquisition for a double tap at the range too.
I'm thinking seriously about those new Fiber Optic glowing sights too which work well both day and night..... already have a laser for dusk and low light.[/URL]

You can become a certified Glock armorer in 2 days if you can find where a class is...i did it many years ago and it was fun.

Yup Thanks, I got the 27 squared away, but now I got me a new Oive Drab 26 too and since I'll be taking it kayak fishing out in the lake/rivers, I'm wondering if I should get some of those Marine/maritime spring cups in case it falls in water in the bottom of the kayak or even into the lake/river and I haul it back up and need to fire. (NOT planning to try firing it under water, unless I'm in the water facing a smiling shark coming at me, which I doubt will happen as I mostly go freshwater)

Austin Kayak is having a free "Demo Days" in San Marcos (and in Houston) next weekend, but I have to be elsewhere next weekend .... Inks Lake or Houston Kayak event, I forget which.

The Maritime cups are just slotted to allow water to escape the firing pin channel. You can modify stock ones or simply shoot the gun as is. I've shot my Glock half full of water and it functioned just fine.
