I would if I could. Bob is the master of under-statement when he says a gun is "nice." Spent all my gun money on a 17-3 last week anyway.

For the two double action .45 colts, are they capable of withstanding the same magnum loads usually designated "blackhawk only" in reloading manuals?

    Those are some sexy Smiths

    No, I sure wouldn't.

I love me some N-frames, but they're just not known for being extremely robust.

    Here's a couple more...
    Bob

1st Model Double Action Frontier .44 Centerfire (.44-40). Produced somewhere between 1881 and 1890, this was S&W's first DA revolver. Far better than the Colt Lightning and much stronger. This one has about 50% nickle left, no chips on the grips; functions perfectly ( I shot it, of course). Light pitting in the bore, but sharp rifling. A nice antique. $850.00, FTF-ammo not included).

OK, OK...Reduced to $700.00 for John Wesley Hardin's favorite revolver (he was carrying one when he was shot in the back of the head in the Acme Saloon in El Paso). Last reduction to $500.00

SOLD. Model 10-5, .38 Special, 5" barrel. This one is mint, with 99+ % factory nickle. No endshake, perfect lock-up and carry-up, perfect bore. $375.00 with an extra set of walnut factory stocks if you don't like the gay fake pearl. SOLD

Has been fired, but not much
