"Well, welcome to Texas but love it for what it is."

What do you mean by that?

I hope you're not hedging as in these Texas people are nice, but terribly unsophisticated compared to Cali folk, or these Texas people are nice, but they have little love for fascist/commie types and you'd be right about that. Believe it!

Don't come from Cali and pretend you're superior to Texans -- you aren't. Nor will that attitude (if in fact it's yours and maybe it isn't or maybe it is) go over well.

Warning your fellow ex-Cali neighbor that 'wink wink' Texans aren't really your kind of people, but you'll adapt to their primitive ways isn't the way to influence your ex-state fellow.

If my B.S. detector is off, then my apologies, but you sound rather like you actually wanted to stay in Cali.

Ignore the above post. Reads like a trailer load of fresh manure in august, but with more stench.

Maybe, just maybe you should spend less time reading things into the words of others that just are not there because you obviously suck at it. What I meant was don't come here to change it.

If I woke up every morning assuming the worst of everyone I'd just eat a bullet and get it over with. Grow up.

We have a neighbor from Cali and is exactly his attitude, that is, what I described in the earlier post that has you so upset.

He's a condescending putz, with a superior to Texans attitude.

He still thinks all thing Cali is better in every category to anything Texas.

This is normal for me. Ginger scale of "upset" works different.

He most likely doesn't own and is anti guns, does he have a "I voted for Hilllary" sticker on his Prius?

Thank you all for the friendly welcomes! :D

I just purchased two handgun within the past week. A Glock 22 Gen 4 and a CZ P07 Suppressor Ready model. Wouldn't been able to buy these in California because of the stupid handgun roster they have.
