    Guys,

    I started using night mode on my iPhone and then thought to myself that I'm not doing enough to get to bed earlier. Since the night mode on my phone wasn't changing when I'm sleepy I decided to try going all in on "night mode" 2 days ago. It's easy.

    1st step is to have clean and clear paths so you're not stepping over anything when you need to get around your house. It's important for your safety.

    2nd step is once the sun goes down, eat supper in the fading light and don't turn your lights on. If it gets dark use candlelight. You're only light should be candle light or fridge light if you need a drink.

    3rd step is keep the damn lights off. Once you're tired, go to bed.

    This has been getting me tired around 9ish and asleep by 10:30 everyday I've tried it. I wake up the same time. I get all my emails and work done at the same time, but my mind is winded down by bed time.

    Try it for yourself. There's nothing that can really substitute for good sleep.

    Have a rambunctious toddler wear you out every evening, and you fall asleep 30 seconds after head hits the pillow - until the little bugger decides HE doesn't want to sleep anymore and comes to wake you back up at 1:15am.

    I have to have a hall light on in my house because my wife needs to see the way to the bathroom.

    To bet at 10:30 and up at 5.30 been my schedule since dirt was clean.

    No problem falling asleep. It's staying asleep that gives me fits. Go to bed around 9:30, wake up like clockwork at 11:30 and 2:30. I can usually go back to sleep, but sometimes at 3:00, I give up an make some coffee. Then I'm up the rest of the day.

    Still trying this. My sleep schedule is screwed up because of my 4 week old.

    I started cold brewing coffee and drinking a yeti cup full in the morning. It’s smoother than hot coffee and has more coffee and less water.

    I have a tent that blew down and is full of water. I never slept in it. I didn't care for some things about it. When I can get it packed up and out of the way, I have a new one to pitch in it's place. I sleep well in a tent, in the house, not so much.
