Range Day June 24th

Weather says high winds and storms for the morning. I'm going to keep an eye on it. Rain is one thing but thunderstorms are a no go for me.

For now, I'm going. If I wake up to storms though, I'll have to pass on this one. Both weather.com and local weather say storms and rain though due to a late season cold front. Hopefully that 80% is east of here, I haven't been shooting in months.

Ill check in periodically to make sure the range hasn't closed. It's already raining a bit here, which I am about 8 miles away from Shiny Top so nothing too bad but im checking the radar.

Uh..I'll see what happens in the next 45 minutes but I may sit this one out, the radar is moving storms this way.



My House isn't the biggest one in the world but I have room for about 6 people if its a wash out and yall want to hang around and still eat and joke.

Could they close the range? If that is a possibility I may not even bother.

I just got a notice that TSSR (just down the road) isn't going to open today.

I know it is a different range but I am still hearing thunder too.

Doesn't look good.

Nothing but a little wind and rain here in my part of Salado, still though, the active radar indicates in about an hour thunderstorms are going to be moving in.

I am at the pistol range. Calm and the drizzle has stoped. No thunder. I am going to set up here. I fully understand if y'll don't. PITA to get set up to get washed out. I posted my number. Give me a call if you want to before you head out.
