Too expensive for me. I will go to check it out. I usually go to lonestar. I prefer outdoor ranges and shooting steel. I do check out Nardis once or twice a year. Maybe the competition between the two will eventually lower the prices.

Also a new range going in old Munnies building on 281 north
Looks like there is finally some actual construction happening. That said, I'd be surprise if they can get everything one in 2017. And isn't Nardis putting in new locations around Rolling Oaks and Alamo Ranch?

I like outdoor ranges too. Steel targets as well. But in the middle of dead hot summer Lone Star gets brutal. Not to mention it is in bfe. Too much driving. Makes it a one day event. Unless you are close by it.

Nardis new locations are convenient who love close by. Competition is good.

    San Antonio!
Never knew they sold guns, let alone have a range. Thanks.

The Mumme's in Hondo has a nice gun store in it (this pic is from their website)!

Good experience there two weeks ago. Efficient, no wait for a lane. You can do their waiver on line before you show up and it’s integrated into your transaction so you don’t have to watch a video and sign paper on site.

Moved here from CO a year ago. Belonged to a similar concept range there. The CO range opened in 2015, waived initiation fee for active military and Law Enforcement, and had a flat-rate $35/mo unlimited rate. Public was $25/hr.

Same ability to reserve a lane on line as Mission Ridge.

Overall, a positive experience for me. I’d prefer to pay $35/month, but will probably buy into a solo membership.

Also, my CO range hosted two different league matches twice per month. Girl & Gun on 1st/3rd Mondays, IDPA on 2nd/4th Friday’s.

    Wow.

When I grew up in Hondo, the only gun store in town was the back room of Fry's Drug Store. Seriously, the pharmacist had an FFL and there was a little ante-room behind the "employees only" curtain with a counter, a sofa, and a few guns on the wall. No one knew it was there except by invitation even though it was, technically, an open retail establishment and, per all the rules, had to be open to the public.

It was an early implementation of "Don't ask, don't tell", I suppose.
