She was almost 14. Found her and her sister when they were about 3 weeks old. They were coyote/heeler mixed. Truly wild things. They both fit in my hand.
    Her sister died in November.

I let her back inside at about 3 this morning and she went to her bed. She took her last breath around 3:30 surrounded by her pack and in her sleep.

Goodbye Geta, you will be missed and we are thankful for the many loyal years we had with both you and your sister.

Sorry to hear your friends gone. Worst thing about owning a dog is knowing that you'll have to say goodbye to them .

May they both be resting in peace :)

Because of you, they both had over 13 good years. Would they have been more than pups without you? Take heart in that they had a good life.

    Sorry for your loss.

sorry for your loss Hoji. Dogs are the hardest.

Our 16 year old back in San Diego got put down a month or 2 ago... never gets easy but always worth it

    Thank you all.

If you have dogs, you know one day you are going to have to take that last trip to the vet. Since 2009 we have done that trip 3 times. Geta passing at home, in her sleep, is a bittersweet blessing.

Died surrounded by her pack, in her sleep.

Still sucks, but less than having to take her to the vet's.
