The articles so far are claiming there were two groups protesting. "White nationalists" and "anti racists". For some reason I'm not 100% convinced this is an accurate representation of attendees.

Gonna wait till more info comes out on who was in attendance and who was driving the vehicle.

white nationalists = alt right
anti racists = antifa
But perhaps I am wrong.

The problem is, they don't know what the "alt right" is. According to the MSM just about any Trump supporter meets the criteria for "alt right" if they want to imply racism. They have also called Ben Shapiro "alt right" despite being the number 1 recipient on online anti Semitic attacks last year and supposedly the number one enemy of the "alt right".

So I would have no reason to believe what you say isn't true, but for the MSM it does the same thing. Anyone they disagree with is "alt right"=white nationalist=racist. Protesting the destruction of a confederate monument is all the evidence they need.

Milo is also an alt right homophobic racist despite being a gay with a preference for black men. (Although he was smeared to the point of irrelevance by some terrible sound bites)
