Yeah, I prefer a little more challenge.
I am the first one to slam on 1911s but you kind of left it a little too easy for me.

I agree but Colt charges a premium for basic A1 1911 without a firing pin block.
I don't care for the entry level affordable 1991s either, even though 1991 was the best year ever. (I was born)

Speaking of Kimbers, I put a Wolff HD spring in that one we were shooting, and it's running great. Even works for me now.

I have a Kimber Custom II that my brother shot a few thousand times. Zero malfunctions and still has the original springs.
