I saw this track on Friday on the Lost Creek trail in the Westlake area of Austin. I have been there almost everyday for about the last two years and this is the first time I've ever seen the track of a cat in that area. It seems to me much to large to be a bobcat, can anyone give a clue? I have read of a few sightings of mountain lions in the RR/ North Austin area, but I can't find any that seem to be in this area. It was very close to the road on a very well used trail in a very populated area. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My nephew had a mountain lion sighting out at his place near Liberty Hill earlier this summer. They are around here & there apparently.
