Just curious - how many are experienced in coaching children and wouldn't mind lending a hand.

For having 4 kids of my own, I'm surprisingly bad with kids. Like, really bad.

Still trying to convince my wife to let us go, if only she could put down her autographed copy of "What Happened"

Rifle or pistol? I have a nice .22LR single shot pistol that is a wonderful fit in small-ish hands. I also have experience (not extensive, but solid) teaching/coaching children with a pistol.

OTOH, if you're talking rifle fundamentals from position, well, I'm a good teacher but that doesn't make up for not knowing the subject matter. :)

Note: My attendance is an open question. If I'm there, I'm happy to help.

Same here - I could just be blowing smoke up everyone's asses at this point.

We have a pair of 10/22's that are theirs, so I'd like them to learn that... which should be interesting because whenever I handle them (still unfired), I can't figure out how to drop the mag or hold the bolt back lol. Just never shot one.

Would really like to get them on pistol as well, don't have a .22lr pistol. Have put a gov't size 1911 airsoft in their hands that they can somewhat grip, although the real gun is likely too heavy. They also can't rack a slide just yet.

I should have gotten the P229 .22lr kit when it was on sale a few weeks ago.

I'm on the fence, leaning towards going. I'm going to try and bring my just shy of 8 y/o daughter out, she'll bring her Savage Rascal .22LR lefty.

There will be several there that probably would not mind helping with kids. I will bring some kid friendly stuff as well. Be more than happy to help out.

I vaguely remember a sign for no steel ammo - but I think they were talking about projectiles. I shot some steel cased 7.62x39's there last time.
