This is completely off topic, for which I apologize, however I hope you will grant me this
one indulgence in order to ask for help for a stranger in need.

I'm looking for a person with access to a skid-steer, back-hoe, or other such large machinery in the New Caney, Porter, Roman Forest area who would be willing to tear down a smaller old wood house and move the debris to the street.

The guy who owns (owned) what's left of the house lost everything when his neighborhood flooded during Harvey. His house was lifted off it's cinder block foundation and is now a total loss. Harris county will haul the debris away if it is in the right-of-way (next to the street) but the guy can't afford to pay someone to tear down the house and get the debris over there.

If anyone is in that area, has some kind of machinery that can do the job, and is willing to help this poor guy out, please send me a PM or email and I will get you connected to the guy to make arrangements.

I personally don't know this guy in any way but I've seen the pictures of the house (taken by a neutral third party) and I'm putting it out there just in case someone has the resources at hand and the willpower to rack up a few good karma points by helping a fellow human in need.

    Thanks for your consideration.

I wish I could help, but I'm 250 miles away. My heart breaks for the elderly who were hit bad by that thing.
