would make more sense if it was british intel, it was a british ship. although nothing surprises me. US contantly mimics history, like taking out the iraqi ruler to get access to their resources (england did it around 1917)

The ship was a point of pride for the British. They had no interest in sinking their own ship. But it's a moot point because the actors have no interest in individual governments. These actors are moving chess pieces on the global level. The interests of individual nations are not a priority.

    Exactly.

A ship specifically designed to withstand impacts with icebergs using cutting edge technology of the time.

Guess they didn't expect CIA to figure it as such a good test subject for new naval warefare strategies.

That was even before OSS, or maybe that’s just what they want us to think

Edit: oh wow I’m late to this party

Haven’t read the Austin American Statesman since I lived down there many years ago. What’s the jest of the article? What is meant by the citizens of a community being persecuted (when I’m sure most of them don’t have anything to do with the ‘bump stock’ business)?

    Thanks for posting that link.
    GOD bless Moran.
No problem, only remark I didn't like was that they should go after the companies that make higher capacity magazines, but that wasn't the paper saying that. Otherwise it was a good piece.
I don't really care about slide fire stocks, but I wouldn't be for denying it to others.

The NYT article actually has a left/anti slant. Not super overt, perhaps, but definitely there.

What I had meant is that it wasn't written in a point of view that is basically biased. Mostly the views were of what people of Moran had said, not what I would expect from a liberal rag.

Can't tell if it was written to give the people of Moran a chance to say they are not responsible for the actions of a criminal. Or as a chance to give their readers a chance to dump on the people of Moran.
The jist of the comments, if you live in Moran, you are responsible for what happened. Even if you didn't work for the company.
    Not surprising from them.

Well certainly if you are a liberal gun grabber you are going to read into it what fits your narrative, they already have their minds made up. I, myself didn't see where the paper itself was turning it negative towards Moran, in fact, it seems that it was saying that Strike Fire was responsible for keeping Moran alive.

"Flyover states" gave us Trump and therefore must be vilified...more vilified that we already are
