Thats the good thing about concealed carry: surprise. But do y'all think i'd get sick of IWB carry?

I CC, using an OWB holster, and squared off shirts untucked.

And there is a difference between licensed carry in your vehicle and carrying under the Motorist Protection Act of 2009.

Yeah, mostly the difference is that with Car Carry without a license the handgun cannot be in plain view (longview is ok, but not plainview, **chuckle**), and licensed you can open carry in the car as long as it is carried in a belt or shoulder holster.

Is this a thread to bash open carry? I haven't seen stats that show a growing concern for being shot while open carrying as opposed to concealed carrying.

I dont have anything against open carry.. I just wanted to know more about concealed carry laws.

Don't google, just go to TXDPS website and read the LAW! If you have an LTC you may carry open or concealed in places that don't legally prohibit it. Or on your property. That is the simplest way to define it.
