Just received my new sight pusher and have to say I am very impressed. I installed night sights on my PX4 full size, Colt Wiley Clapp Government model, Beretta Brigadier and S&W 3953. I highly recommend this tool! If you have looked at it don't hesitate in purchasing. It is is well worth the 274 shipped price I paid.

    Longer version:

I did buy the Eagle Gun Range a Walther rear sight adapter shoe thingie for their pusher for the one time I needed a fixed rear sight replaced with another one, so they didn't charge me anything for the work.

I would probably replace some other sights one some pistols around here if I had a pusher, and it would be convenient to have one, but IDK if I need $274 worth of convenience. I would help paying for it at a rate of say $5-$10 per visit, but the only pistol right now I do have that I really want to change sights is a Kimber Micro 9 that shoots a bit high with my preferred sight image.

Great idea. If we can just get someone in each metro area to buy one I would certainly be willing to rent it or pay per use and am sure others would as well. But I just can't justify one for my own use.

And it works OK, but it's not anywhere near as nice as the OP's new pusher. The other side of that coin is I only paid about 50 bucks for it. So, you get what you pay for.

I have one of those as well. It did not work well for me especially on Beretta's. The slide kept twisting trying to push the rear site (very tight) and it is no bueno for the front site due to the slide taper on the Beretta.

I have the B&J P500 and use it damn near daily.....a much better machine since they went to the non rotating pins and the extra vertical clamp........can still break the pins on Kimbers and some Springfields, though......When you call B&J for parts, you talk to the owner.....they do have a lifetime guarantee on parts and stand behind them....There are even more expensive machines out there.....but the P500 covers 98% of my needs.......someone sold one here on TGT not long ago for like 75 or 100.00.....almost bought it myself for that price....
