Looks like this is the record vote. Considering Massie and Gohmert were nays I think it's safe to say it passed with the garbage attached. http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2017/roll663.xmlThanks.. I updated a link in my last post to today's actions.

I don't believe I read anywhere about gun purchases in other states being part of this bill.Another question on the federal level about national reciprocity is the NICS system. Here in Texas if I use my TEXAS LTC when purchasing a gun i don’t have to do the NICS check. Like 30 other states also have this benefit. Does that now mean because states recognize each other that I could also purchase a gun on those other states and they’d have to federally recognize my Texas LTC??
In other words there’s a whole lot of stuff to consider here.

Who knows? If this becomes law they can amend it however they want in the future. It's a new can of worms like you say a whole lot to consider. That was the point made in this video.Another question on the federal level about national reciprocity is the NICS system. I have a problem with both bills, now that I’ve considered many angles of what we continue to get ourselves into with Federal fingers that come creeping.
Lawmakers passed the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, which also includes language aimed at improving the federal background check system more commonly known as NICS. The combined bill passed 231-198; six Democrats voted for it, and 14 Republicans voted against it.

Democrats on that committee tried to amend the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act to separate it from the Fix NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check System) Act, as the two bills were originally considered separately. But Republicans rejected the effort to split the bills in two at the committee.
Good question: it can put officers at risk in cases where licenses have been suspended or revoked and without the individual specific license being placed into NCIC then how would the officer know that. Imagine an officer in Iowa pulling over a citizen from Florida while he was traveling to Montana? How would the officer know that citizen was just arrested and out on bail and that his Florida license was suspended?
Americans don't trust Americans anymore.
Yeah.I trust you, Vaq...
President Reagan (Azz Clown) signed the FOPA Hughes Amendment in 1986 banning new NFA MGs. So as long as the US Congress doesn’t do anything more with the NFA stuff (I have several) then I am fairly happy. Hopefully this new NICS law they are talking about won’t involve NFA items. I am a die hard Republican but what Reagan signed on the Hughes Amendment was treasonous.
And which seems to be SOP rather than an exception.Just another case of legislators voting for something without reading it in detail.
