Imagine living next to a country where 90,000 people have been thrown in mass graves since 2015.

Now imagine a politician saying you should have neither a Border, nor guns to protect your family from such people. Incredible.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5147929/Remains-3-000-cartel-victims-Mexico.html

The remains of at least 3,000 suspected cartel murder victims have been discovered in northern Mexico.

Since 2015, Vida has located the bodies of more than 90,000 people in at least 40 clandestine mass grave sites.

Yep, Mexico is rarely talked about in the MSM here in the US. If you don't live in a border state, you most likely think it wasn't that bad.
A year or so ago my buddies wife was invited to a wedding there. I didn't say anything, being from up North/deaf ears and all, but I just wondered why anyone would want to get married in Mexico, let alone visit for any reason these days.

I performed a diligent web search and could only find this story at the UK's Daily Mail and Telesur.

    Deception by omission.

My Daughter's church wanted her to go on a two-week mission trip to Ciudad Acuña (like in the ZZ Top song).

Not only did I say "Hell NO!", I told her Youth Minister (since fired) that he was an idiot for doing such a thing.

Yep. No surprise. There was a discussion I recall where MX was going to change constitution and allow citizen to own firearms. Have not heard anything lately. Pretty sad. Unarmed and defenseless. At the mercy of the thuggery.

Going down in 4 weeks to Cancun. If any shenanigans, it will be the last time.

My wife wanted to vacation down there {again} this past Summer. I put my foot down and told her, “no”. I then began to show her constant, virtually daily accounts of the drug violence going on there. After a very short time reading the news, she stopped asking about anymore trips to Mexico. Occasionally some of the tourists “made the news” - and not in a good sorta way!
