Well, if you read it on the internet...
I never said it did.I don't see the issue. Setting up my 9mm can for pistol or rifle has no effect on thread pitch.

Well, I have 4 different adapters for my SiCo Octane, including 3 lug.Of course you don't, but what's that got to do with anything? My SiCo Omega9K and Omega45K cans both have adapters for 1/2x28 threaded barrels, and these adaptors eliminate the booster completely. I've also got a larger adapter for the 45K to use with .45ACP barrels.
Which was what started all this.Probably because that's the standard thread for 9mm barrels...
The Colt 9mm has 1/2-36 threads. Other than the UZI, which uses metric threads, or a HK with 3-lug, it's been around longer than about any 9mm carbine.
It was long the standard for 9mm.
yeah, and 1/2x36 has fallen WAY behind these days. I have HK and Sig 9mm pistols with 13.5x1 LH threading, but my factory Beretta M9 barrel is threaded 1/2x28. My Bobcat Weapon BW5 HK 9mm MP5 clone is threaded 1/2x28 and has three-lug, the same as my POF MP5 9mm clone. My Freedom Ordnance FX9 9mm carbine and FX9 pistol are threaded 1/2x28.The Colt 9mm has 1/2-36 threads. Other than the UZI, which uses metric threads, or a HK with 3-lug, it's been around longer than about any 9mm carbine.

It's got nothing to do with the fact that 1/2x28 has become the most prevalent 9mm threading.Well, I have 4 different adapters for my SiCo Octane, including 3 lug.

Changing the narrative...Yet the standard for 9mm suppressors became 1/2X28 in the US. Crazy ain't it.
Changing the narrative...
Damn straight. We use 1/2x28 on our .355 Auto here in 'Murcia! We don't need no 13.5x1 LH threaded Euro-threading up in here.
