So I can either get a 6 3 4 and an extension nut for roughly $60,
    Or I can get a 7 3 4 and nut for $72
Will the 6 3 4 work with magpul forend?

I really think you'll be happy with magpull adjustable length of pull. Nice Recoil Pad As well

Ok update on the 88... I have over 125 rounds through the gun, and I have no complaints. It's a great gun. I bought the forend, and the stock, and I will put the stock on first. After that I will buy an action bar and install the forend. I will upload some pics as soon as the stock arrives.
To anyone thinking about getting a shotgun and don't have a lot of money, I would say this is the way to go. If you want to buy a good, but inexpensive shotgun, and add on accessories, this is really the best option.

    I love this gun!
The old stock came off nice, but the Magpul took some work. I don't know if it's just mine, but the trigger group notch didn't fit in the stock hole so I had to do some sanding on the stock. After you trim it though it fits perfectly.
I do not regret buying this stock, it looks way better, and I found it online for $90!
The only issue is I don't know if I will like the grip angle after 100 rounds or so. It's not bad, I will just have to get used to it.

Didn't have a need to trim anything on mine. I am getting used to the grip angle my self. But nice stock and recoil pad as good as the limb saver I had on my wood stock. I am just having small issue with the heat shield shifting but I think that will be small fix. Great gun.

Ok I've shot the gun a while, and the grip angle is quite nice.
Also, I heard someone say the 500 action bar would scratch the 88 tube. Does the 500 get scratches on the finish?
