I wrote a response to this thread and deleted it. It's not possible for me to say anything useful when what I've just heard evokes such a strong emotional response.

This is a casually racist (check out his characterization of Vietnamese folks) person who does not appreciate history and should not be allowed to be near young adults. Yet he's a high school history teacher? That's insane. Just insane.

I agree that is is harder every day to respond to the actions of people whose only redeeming value would be as objects of entertainment in some back alley. Unfortunately, they are not the problem, they are the symptom of the past two generations of inbreeding from an educational and liberal political system that has spread the malignancy across this once wonderful nation. Just like a cancer in the body, it starts with a single cell and then spreads....taking control of one part of the body and then using the bloodstream (media) to infect otherwise healthy areas. There is only so much that medical procedures can resolve and sometimes amputation is the only answer. Otherwise the body will die a slow death.

That wasn't a stab at teachers either, but this guy is acting like he is rubbing shoulders with Warren Buffett. Not to mention he implies that since he is a history teacher, he is smarter than anyone who is serving in the military. I am living proof that if you look at things objectively, he is wrong. Now this might sound like a dick measuring contest but let me waste a few more seconds of your time. I have acquired more wealth and a higher salary than he has and I am probably 15-20 years younger than him. My degree is worth more and my education was much more intensive. Granted he might be a mayor or a city council member but he has the right public opinion and skin tone to get elected where he lives.

So it looks like he is losing that argument. He just seems like a petulant, entitled demographic that is targeted by democrats who hates America because it gave him the ability to have an education, money, food, shelter and clean water to drink.

Also, he mentions that we couldn't defeat the camel jockeys over there. Well here is a news flash juan, if it was a real war, it would have been over in a few weeks. Same thing with Vietnam and Korea. America's military is unstoppable on the battlefield and is only defeated by politicians and monocle wearing elitists, kind of like the people he imagines himself hanging out with when he isn't handing out detention to kids wearing American flag tshirts to class lol

Many years ago I moved from LA to Tyler. I was 10. Although doing well in the California schools I was judged to be almost 2 years behind the Texas kids at my age. California schools have always sucked. They suck for the same reason Texas schools suck today. Liberals doing brainwashing and not teaching. I am a Veteran and am offended.

I don't want to indict every teacher. A great man Dr. Rodriguez, a 9th grade math teacher in California looked at my work , called my Mom, and then stayed with me an hour after school every day of the school year. For no pay. And when I left the 9th grade I had a 9th grade understanding of math.

I dropped out of highschool for the Military and a good enough diploma. There is more to that story. I did go back later for a degree and dropped out again. End of that story. My job pays well enough. Probably better than teaching and I don't have to deal with teenage shitheads like myself.
