I'm not sure how uncommon it is in CONUS but my German Forest Service (surplused-off) Sig-Sauer P225 is quite acceptable for any number of LE tasks.

    Are these reproductions?

The one with Novak sights installed is currently made by U. S. Armament for Colt
I got mine off a dealer on GunBroker for
$1,299 plus shipping, and a transfer fee from my local dealer.... the Novak sights/ install/ shipping was $325

My Ivory gripped one was made in 1912 by Colt

That looks like it has the tip-up barrel. Am I right about that?

Yes, the barrel flips up. Then you can to put a shell in the chamber, with the mag in
the well. Works really great her in CA, where CCW is the Sheriffs call alone. Lets just say that some laws are stupid and could get one killed. I was never born like that.

Loose pair of jeans and no one knows I am packing. Such is life living in a non-free-state where the truly bad guys, who dont give a damn about communist firearms-laws can pack a ton of heat.

Closest thing is the Tomcat in .32acp. I really like the way it shoots, but it would be nice to have a less wimpy round.

    Day old ducklings for scale...

At least it isn't a .25 ACP. I dont know of any reason to pack such a weak round
as a .25 Cal. The .22LR is actually more deadly then the .25 ACP round.

Cute ducks. I had one that was winged for a pal as a small boy. My father found him and brought him home. Male Mallard. Never shot a duck in my life.

Thanks! I hatch a batch every couple months or so. They make great yard/pond "decorations", and as a bonus the eggs are delicious ;)

My sublime and now-discontinues R9 Rohrbaugh has to be my favorite uncommon carry gun.

Tiny 9mm manageable DAO pocket pixie.

They were painfully pricy (!1.2K$) but I happened upon one for half that.
High end, hand made and rarely referenced.
    Priceless and near irreplaceable!

Had it in my jeans back pocket when the wife almost trampled a 5' rattler so it does have that one confirmed kill.
