If you prefer not to twist knobs then the next important factor will probably be reticle style. BDC tuned to approximate ballistics or some version of mil-dot/mil-hash reticle?
I've never been a knob twiddler. I like a scope with some hash marks or dots (preferably some for windage, too). The Nikon on my AR pictured above has circles which are kinda neat... I think personal preference is the biggest factor on what reticle works best for you.

I don't care much for scopes that are too 'busy' in their reticle, but i do like some BDC and windage marks.

I think im going to go with the Burris xtr 2x8x42. I think with the 42 ill have a better field of view and more light, than the vortex and sig scope

Very Cool! Your going to enjoy that scope. IMHO Burris is hard to beat for the price and they have lifetime warranty. I have their xtr2 in the 8-40x50 and 5-25x50. I'm very happy with both.

Did you get the Mil-dot or MOA?

That's a good all-around scope. Keep me posted on how you like it...

I ordered directly from manufacture (LE Discount) and they didn't say it was discontinued just that it would take about 3 weeks to get it in. I'll report back if it's discontinued
